I always snap DUX frames up when I come across them as they are so well made and comfortable. DUX were an extremely well regarded Swedish midcentury furniture manufacturer who also had great success in Denmark and the USA.
Rue and Rudi have an understated elegance and clean laid back styling. The frames have a sprung front, (where the whole front edge under the seat cushions is a sprung unit), which makes for a lovely loungy sit.
Rudi and Rue were refurbished for a customer as a bespoke commission in a mustard wool/flax fabric from Camira fabrics.
