Jesper comes with great midcentury credentials having been designed by Folke Ohlsson for Fritz Hansen one of the best known Danish midcentury furniture makers. This sofa has a classic midcentury balance of angles and curves and the quality of design and craftsmanship shine through.
We have completely restored Jesper in a robust wool from Abraham Moon & Sons in a beautiful sea green/grey herringbone with warm background tones which sits perfectly against his wooden legs. It’s often difficult to convey the subtlety of fabric colour and tone in photos, but we are always happy to send out swatches or extra photos.
All of our sofas and armchairs are fully refurbished, from the frame outwards, with professional expertise, using the finest quality materials and fabrics we know will age gracefully and be able to withstand modern life. These pieces feel like new whilst retaining their original design narrative and all comply to current fire retardancy regulations for domestic use as a minimum.
