We absolutely love these original Danish 1930s banana frames, their design is cosy and enveloping and they are wonderfully well made. The arced profile also makes them perfect for alcoves or under windows.
Vita has been refurbished in a mustardy yellow wool/flax mix which suits the frame to a tee, sunshine in sofa form!
Our refurbished pieces are fully restored, from the frame outwards, using the finest quality materials and fabrics we know will age gracefully and be able to withstand modern life. The aim is for these pieces to feel like new whilst retaining their original design narrative and all restored pieces comply to current fire retardancy regulations for domestic use as a minimum.
Our midcentury sofa and chair frames are almost exclusively from Denmark and they come with excellent design and quality provenance.
