This original Danish mid-century black leather high backed armchair is an absolute beauty, designed by Hans Olsen for CS Møbelfabrik. With that familiar Hans Olsen arm profile and clean silhouette and an angled back which makes for a lovely loungy sit. The quality of design and construction of this piece is tip top.
The armchair is available ‘sold as seen’ in its current vintage condition which is excellent. The frame is solid and sturdy and the black leather upholstery is in very good vintage condition with just a little age related marking here and there and no areas of significant wear. The seat and back cushions are feather filled and the head cushion is attached to the back cushion as shown in the photos.
