I always snap up these curved Georg Thams designs when I come across them, they are so well made and the design has a classical elegance, this sofa would fit seemlessly into a modern or more traditional interior.
The quality of the hardwood frame is excellent and the piece comes with real design heritage, Georg Thams being a very well regarded Danish mid century furniture maker.
The sofa is available in it’s current vintage condition which is fair. The frame is excellent quality and solid and sturdy, it has a sprung front and seat back which ensures a really comfy sit. There are some scuff and marks on the upholstery which are shown in the photos and some wear on the interior foam. This frame would be ideal for refurbishment and would restore beautifully.
