Our Ellinor sofa comes with great midcentury credentials having been designed by Folke Ohlsson for Dux one of the best known Swedish midcentury furniture makers, she has a classic angled frame, balanced with a lovely sweep to the arm profile.
These designs have a sprung front, (where the whole front edge under the seat cushion is a sprung unit), which is always a sign of quality and makes this piece lovely and loungy.
We have fully refurbished the frame in a dark sea green wool with warm background tones which sits perfectly against the dark brown legs.
Our midcentury sofa and chair frames are almost exclusively from Denmark or Sweden and come with excellent design and quality provenance.
