Our Ellinor sofa comes with great midcentury credentials having been designed by Folke Ohlsson for Dux one of the best known Swedish midcentury furniture makers, she has a classic angled frame, balanced with a lovely sweep to the arm profile.
These designs have a sprung front, (where the whole front edge under the seat cushion is a sprung unit), which is always a sign of quality and makes this piece lovely and loungy.
We have fully refurbished the frame in a dark sea green wool with warm background tones which sits perfectly against the dark brown legs. Our restored pieces are completely refurbished from the frame outwards, with professional expertise, using the finest quality materials and fabrics we know will age gracefully and be able to withstand modern life. These pieces feel like new whilst retaining their original design narrative and all comply to current fire retardancy regulations for domestic use as a minimum.
