This beauty of a lounge chair was designed by Alf Svensson and produced by Swedish manufacturer DUX. There is a lightness and elegance to the design which sings and this piece would be a wonderful centrepiece in any space.
The chair is adjustable and can be locked in an upright or reclined position and is a very comfortable sit.
Alf has been fully refurbished in a Bute fabrics green boucle, which sits perfectly against the frame. It’s sometimes difficult to show the exact tone and texture of fabrics in photos but we are always happy to send out swatches or set up a visit if you want to come and see anything in person.
Our midcentury sofa and chair frames are almost exclusively from Denmark & Sweden and they come with excellent design and quality provenance. Our restorations aim to make these pieces feel like new whilst retaining their original design narrative, and all comply to current fire retardancy regulations for domestic use as a minimum.
