Silvia is a 20C frame but earlier in styling and the intricate turned legs make us think she might originate from Sweden. These narrower designs are an excellent option for a hallway or alcove and the sunny fabric ensures Silvia will bring colour and light wherever she is placed.
This sofa is available for bespoke refurbishment in a fabric/styling of your choice or also for sale ‘sold as seen’ in it’s current vintage condition.
The vintage condition is pretty good. The frame is sturdy and strong and the upholstery is in good condition, there is a bit of superficial staining here and there and a few areas where the fabric is worn, particularly at the top corners of the back, bnut the sofa is perfectly useable as it is. We have tried to show the condition in the photos but please contact us for a more detailed condition report.
Our bespoke service entails a full refurbishment, from the frame outwards, using the finest quality materials and fabrics we know will age gracefully and be able to withstand modern life. The aim is for these pieces to feel like new whilst retaining their original design narrative and all restored pieces comply to current fire retardancy regulations for domestic use as a minimum.
