This original Danish black leather 1960s sofa was designed by Werner Langenfeld for ESA Mobelfabrik a very well regarded Danish furniture maker. Sitting on chromed steel pedestal legs this sofa is midcentury to its core with a clean silhouette and a tilted back profile which makes for a lovely loungy sit. The quality of design and construction of this piece is tip top.
The sofa is available ‘sold as seen’ in its current vintage condition which is excellent. The frame is solid and sturdy and the black leather upholstery is in very good vintage condition with just a little age related marking here and there and no areas of significant wear. The seat and back cushions are feather filled and are a little flat, we would be very happy to quote for new fillings if this is of interest. The chromes steel legs are also in excellent condition with barely any even superficial marking.
